A MILLION Dollar Impact!!

Through our tax ministry, Oasis has had following impact on the community we serve: In five years we have filed 883 returns with an economic impact of $1,230,000 in the community, through both the credits and refunds we have helped citizens get and the free service we provide for preparing and filing the return. With an average refund of over $2200 per return this is a tremendous ministry that impacts our fellow citizens at a time when they could use every bit of help that we can provide.  This year alone we filed 121 returns and saved people $295,105 (up from last year)!  All of this was done FREE by our volunteers who put in 310 of their own hours to do so!  Many, many thanks to Doug Edwards, Volunteer Coordinator, and ALL the volunteers who were trained and willing to serve in this way!
