Although it is uncertain exactly how this will impact our ministry at Oasis, we definitely want to continue to be in the lives of these young people that we have grown to know and love! Please pray that God will lead us in the direction in which we can best serve these children and their families.
Pray for the Oasis Appliance as it's been so successful that we've already run out of stock and have had to temporarily close our doors due to this! Also pray for continued donations of used appliances and for Terry as he currently works with local big box stores to see if they'd consider donating their trade-in appliances when customers purchase new; pray for wisdom and God's favor. Pray for staff (James & Shalita) and volunteers (Bill Kane,Tom Harrison, & others) who are manning the store. Please also pray for special blessings for our volunteer, Bill, who has been instrumental in getting this venture off the ground and is currently battling cancer. This is also a huge PRAISE that this business endeavor has been this successful!

Pray for the Oasis Neighborhood Stabilization program that we have received a grant for $303,000 to rehab seven new homes in our North Memphis neighborhood!!! Pray for protection and good health for their babies and for God to change the infant mortality statistics and allow little ones to live healthy and full lives so they can grow up to be all that God wants them to be! Pray for their futures and that they'd make good decisions.
Pray for the teens in the inner city who are tempted to get involved in drugs, sex, gangs & violence. Pray for protection, a commitment to education, and mentors to come along side of them and show them a better way as well as introduce them to Christ!
